Joey Arends has had extensive training and experience in the field of communication training, coaching and conflict resolution. 

She has worked for years in polytechnical education (methodology, NLP, conflict resolution and mediation and intercultural communication) for amongst other the polytechnics Zuyd and Fontys in the Netherlands.  besides she has worked as a guest teacher abroad (amongst other the Satakunta Polytechnics in Pori Finland and the Katholische Fachhochschule Rheinland Westfalen in Aachen, Germany).

Joey Arends is NLP trainer, affiliated to the Global Trainers Community for by Robert Dilts trained trainers and coaches.  She is also certified by SFM Ventures, founded by Robert and John Dilts.  Furthermore she is a certified NLP Health Coach (NLP HTC).
